The suprising calm after the storm.
People have such an ability to function at "normal". Even when drastic shit is wrong dinners are made, tellevision is watched, people retire for the evening, and wake up the next day just a little more insulated from the real raw things dug up.
I guess its just another trick in humanitys great coping bag.
Other than that, today I get to deal with the dreaded mother-in-law (to be). She's coming over today, which is going to come right in the middle of my plans, but we must grin and bear these things like they're not the most annoying things on earth because in all truth in 2 days she's going in for a surgery she may never fully recover from.
I hate the idea of getting old :(
