Last night was *so* great.
I was told I was gorgeous by a gay man, and had my hand kissed and generally caught a glimpse of what life *could* be like.
(The several hours spent after getting back from the bar in utter agony over my complete lack of control over booze consumption did very little to bring down my happy high)
