Its scary...
In one of the diaries I read regularly, there was a message after 7 days of inactivity that just said the person had overdosed on heroin and wouldn't be writing anymore. It floored me.
Its so different from when its someone you know personally...more real in a lot of ways...a diary lets you see another side of a person...could be that its the same one they are when you talk to them on a daily basis...but a diary is more in depth...its the internal monologue people aren't usually invited into.
And its new, so I don't know how to grieve that kind of loss...
