I think this may really be approaching the end. Overheard conversations, completely convincing, have convinced me that my manipulative sociopath is just that. Anything he tells me is just to keep me placated. Anything he tells anyone is. There was a time when I thought I was cutting through to the steel heart within, but now I see he was just giving me the mirror, so I saw my own twisted reflection and saw a soul mate. That's awesome. I finally see it. Now to break away. At least I'll have some help soon. Thank the cavalry!
